Mama Needs a New Roof Days 8-10

I didn’t realize that I hadn’t done an update on here for the last 3 days of my campaign, so here is a summary for you. We gained 17 members in the month of August. That is awesome as that $5100 will definitely help with the bills. I also gave all the members from August signups an extra bonus of one free Social Sewing in the month of September. Who knows what treats I’ll have for members in October, so if you are on the fence, the perks that are scheduled are only part of the equation. I plan to give little perks to our members throughout the year.

I rounded up the last few days starting to prepare for our move. We have a lot of pre-cut youth camp kits that we are rehoming. Whether you want to make some shorts or pants for your kiddos at a huge discount or your kids want to continue sewing on their own, we have pre-cut patterns available for only $20. I just posted those upon the website too. So you can purchase ahead of time for store pickup or buy online for shipping.

We have 3 stuffies we made for camp as samples that we are selling for $25 each too. They are super cute.

The last announcement was about our Spring Sewing Retreat in Scotland. Yes, you heard that right. Scotland and in a castle too. Check out memadegetaway.com for more details on that retreat.

As an update, our roofers received their permits for installing the new roof, so we are hoping that begins to happen this week and most of the other work for the space has also received bids. We are applying for the Lealman CRA grants this week with the hopes that some of this work will receive grant funding. More updates coming soon.
