Mama Needs a New Roof - Day 7

I decided not to do a video today, but I forgot to write my post for yesterday. Not really forgot, but I was wiped out from working at the other property in the yard for several hours. I have opted not to do a Day 8 today as its been raining all day and I am still in my pjs and its almost 4pm. I’ll pick up with Day 8 tomorrow.

I wanted to share that have grown our memberships up to 10 people as of today, so thats nice. I haven’t sold any more digital patterns or interfacing, but that’s ok. If anything I’m getting more visibility for the shop. I updated my YouTube channel to include all my updates too. I lost my monetization last year as I just wasn’t doing videos anymore. All the tutorials I spent hours working on still to this day still barely have 100 views, so it just wasn’t worth it.

I switched to doing online classes instead for my pattern and bra making. I do have plans to get those listed up on Sew Pinellas too, I just haven’t had a chance yet. If you are interested in online learning you can check out Porcelynne.com and see my courses there.

Today I wanted to discuss my scholarship program. We self fund our scholarships, sometimes with the help of my customers. We have given out scholarships to both adults and kids and plan to issue more scholarships as our business grows. If you want to contribute to those scholarships or if you want to contribute directly to our roof fund, you can do so at HERE. Note that we are not a non-profit organization. We gladly accept donations for scholarships and self fund the rest of the scholarships we offer. We never want to turn away a student because they can’t afford our classes.
