After School Sewing and Fashion Program

Embark on a creative journey with our after school programming, designed specifically for students passionate about sewing. This comprehensive 9-week course accommodates different age groups with tailored sessions that fit perfectly into your child's school schedule. We will be holding 4 separate programs this fall. Mondays is our beginner friendly machine sewing program for ages 9-14. Wednesdays will also be a beginner friendly after school machine sewing program designed for ages 9-14, but at a later time than Tuesday. A smaller group will also meet on Wednesdays that is more advanced. Students must be returning and have approval to be in this course and is for ages 10+. Students who sign up for this program that are not at this skill level, will have their registration changed to the beginner friendly class. Thursdays will be our Teen Fashion Design Mentorship Program for ages 12-18.

Program Details

  • Fee: $475 per semester

  • Tuesdays: Beginner Friendly Machine Sewing 3:30-5:30, Ages 9-14, Class size limited to 8 students

  • Wednesdays: Beginner Friendly Machine Sewing 4:30-6:30, Ages 9-14, Class size limited to 8 students

  • Wednesdays: Advanced Machine Sewing and Fashion Program 4:30-6:30, Ages 10-18, Class size limited to 3

  • Thursdays: Teen Mentorship Fashion Design 3:15-5:15, Ages 12-18

Thursdays are designed for teens who wish to learn the technical skills behind draping and pattern drafting. This program is ideal for students planning to further their education in fashion design past high school.

Personal cubbies are provided for storing ongoing projects, ensuring that each piece can be continued from one week to the next without interruption. There are no make up sessions for students who miss a week. Note that this is different than past sessions as we had extended the class time to allow for completing projects in the 9 weeks.
