Purpose:
At Sew Pinellas, we believe in making sewing and crafting education accessible to all, irrespective of financial constraints. Our scholarships, generously funded by our community, aim to bring sewing dreams to life.
Who Can Apply:
Individuals who demonstrate genuine interest in sewing and crafting.
Applicants facing financial challenges that hinder them from enrolling in our classes.
Application Requirements:
Personal Statement:
A 300-500 word essay detailing: - Your interest and experience (if any) in sewing and crafting. - How the scholarship will benefit and further your aspirations. - Any personal challenges or financial hardships that make this scholarship significant for you.
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated passion for sewing and crafting.
Financial need.
Quality and sincerity of the personal statement.

Revolving - available when the scholarships have been funded

Notification:
Successful applicants will be informed on a rotating basis and will be added to a waitlist when approved. When scholarships have been funded, the applicants will be contacted from the order of the waitlist.
Terms and Conditions:
Scholarships are non-transferable.
Scholarships must be accepted within 7 days of being offered.
Students receiving scholarships are expected to attend and actively participate in the chosen classes.
Sew Pinellas reserves the right to revoke scholarships if terms and conditions are not met.
