Slow and Steady

So apparently I overdid it on Sunday and am still feeling the effects of that. I went to work for 2 hours on Monday to deal with the mess in the private classroom, but struggled the whole time. I had to rest up before yesterday’s after school program, so I could join the kids. I’m feeling a little better today, but it really doesn’t help that I wake up at 4am in pain, so I roll out of bed and start my day at 4.

The one advantage of starting my day at 4 is that no one bugs me for at least 2 hours, except for the cats. I had fully intended to start the video series, but I was too tired to stand and look like I wasn’t in agony the last few days. Here’s hoping I can start my series today, although it will be at my house. I will be working on the pricing for all the vintage stuff we are selling on Sunday. Its a lot. Katie will be helping me as I really can’t lift anything.

Our big vintage costume sale starts this Sunday, and I’m so stoked as there are some really cool pieces. I just hope we get people out for it. We have at least 4 more loads to bring from Bernice’s storage unit so we need to move product. Plus I have left over vintage from my shop in California. I honestly keep forgetting I have it. I have furs, a few wedding dresses from the 1920s and 1950s, some kids vintage from the 70s and some other random pieces.
