The new studio will feature multiple dedicated classrooms, allowing us to offer more classes at the same time and significantly expand our schedule.

We'll be able to host multiple classes simultaneously.

That means:

• More after-school programs

• More evening classes

• More weekend opportunities

• Shorter waitlists and greater scheduling flexibility

A Dedicated Smaller Sewing Classroom

Some classes simply work better in an intimate setting.

Our second classroom will be designed for approximately five students, making it perfect for specialty workshops, advanced techniques, and personalized instruction while larger classes continue in the main classroom.

By utilizing both classrooms at once, we'll can double the number of classes we can offer.

Pattern Drafting & Draping Classroom

One of the most exciting additions to our new home is a dedicated Pattern Drafting & Draping Studio.

This classroom is designed specifically for fashion design education, giving students the space and equipment needed to develop professional patternmaking and draping skills.

Whether you're learning the fundamentals of garment design, creating custom patterns, perfecting fit, or preparing to launch your own fashion business, this classroom provides an environment dedicated entirely to the creative side of fashion.

We'll be expanding our pattern drafting, draping, grading, and fashion design curriculum with more specialized classes, workshops, and advanced programs than ever before.

From hobbyists looking to deepen their skills to aspiring fashion designers and entrepreneurs, this space opens the door to an entirely new level of education at Sew Pinellas.

Industrial Sewing Machine Classroom

Another exciting additions to our new space is a dedicated Industrial Sewing Machine Classroom.

This space will focus exclusively on manufacturing and production sewing.

We'll offer training on industrial equipment, professional sewing techniques, and manufacturing workflows, creating opportunities for hobbyists, entrepreneurs, and individuals interested in careers in apparel production.

As local manufacturing continues to grow, Sew Pinellas is excited to help train the next generation of skilled sewists.

Dedicated Private Lesson Classroom

Private instruction deserves a dedicated space.

Our private classroom will comfortably accommodate up to three students and will be reserved exclusively for private lessons and small-group instruction.

Whether you're looking for one-on-one guidance or learning alongside a friend, this room creates a focused environment tailored to your goals.

Members will enjoy complimentary access to reserve this room, subject to availability, making it the perfect place to:

• Work on personal projects

• Meet with sewing friends

• Practice newly learned techniques

• Enjoy a quieter workspace

Non-members may also reserve the room for a rental fee when available.

Open Studio

Creativity doesn't always happen during class.

Our Open Studio will be available anytime the shop is open on a first come, first served basis.

Bring your project, spread out, and enjoy working in a welcoming creative environment whenever inspiration strikes. Reservations may be required.
