This summer, embark on an enriching journey into the world of pattern drafting with Sew Pinellas. Our Pattern Drafting Class, inspired by Jennifer Fairbanks' "Pattern Design", offers an in-depth exploration into transforming basic slopers through pattern manipulation. Conducted over four weeks, with eight sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays, students will work with half scale slopers to learn a variety of techniques crucial to pattern alteration.

Covering darts, gathers, pleats, facings, and more, the class focuses on altering a basic sloper into multiple garment styles. Rather than customizing garments for fit, our goal is to equip you with the skills necessary to understand and apply fundamental pattern manipulation techniques. This knowledge forms the cornerstone of pattern drafting, allowing for endless creativity in designing.

• Duration: Join us for 3 consecutive weeks, with each class spanning 2 hours of immersive learning.
